Vision & Mission

We aim to strenghten the resilience and protect vulnerable populations from the impacts of climate disasters

Vision

The overall vision of the InsuResilience Global Partnership is to strengthen the resilience of developing countries and to protect the lives and livelihoods of poor and vulnerable people from the impacts of climate shocks and disasters by enabling faster, more reliable and cost-effective responses.

Mission

The InsuResilience Global Partnership (IGP) is committed to strengthening people’s ability to deal with climate shocks as a central part of the global response to climate change.

Its goal is to inspire policy and action towards strengthening resilience and protecting low-income and vulnerable populations from climate disasters’ impacts by substantially scaling up the use of climate and disaster risk finance and insurance (CDRFI) solutions. These solutions strengthen resilience by enabling faster, more reliable, and cost-effective response to disasters.

By bringing together a diverse range of partners under one common agenda, the Partnership mobilizes action, raises ambition, and fosters coherence for the delivery of CDRFI solutions. Currently, the IGP comprises over 120 members from different stakeholder groups.
