Our members
The InsuResilience Global Partnership for Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance (CDRFI) builds on a collaboration between V20 and G20+ countries. It brings together stakeholders from countries, civil society, international organizations, the private sector, and academia.
More than 120 members have already supported and committed to engaging and contributing to the Partnership Vision 2025.
Why join?
Membership in the InsuResilience Global Partnership is open to all, including private sector (insurers, reinsurers, etc.), multilateral organizations, non-governmental organizations and V20 and G20+ countries. Our members must share the same objective of building greater resilience and protecting the lives and livelihoods of people and communities most vulnerable to climate change and natural disasters and endorse the InsuResilience concept note.
Membership in the InsuResilience Global Partnership enables countries and stakeholders to engage with and shape a growing community around building financial protection against disasters.
Our membership entails multiple advantages
Indeed, through the Program Alliance, partners, such as governments, can pursue customized training and assistance to identify cost-effective financial mechanisms for their countries. International development partners can work together to meet strategic development priorities. Civil society and NGOs can engage with stakeholders on all levels and help to promote best practices. The private sector can test the usability of existing insurance solutions, receive guidance in product innovation, and foster market development in product innovation.
